Ban Ki Moon Says Syria Top Agenda On UN List

The United Nations has warned the Syrian government and the opposition for violating human rights in Syria, saying that they are on notice. The Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon said this yesterday in Geneva at the start of the body's month-long spring session. Swiss President Didier Burkhalter, howeve, told the council that "recent events that unfolded before our eyes in Ukraine have shown us that security, peace and human rights are not guaranteed in Europe''
